GPW Benchmark informs that after public consultations and after consulting the Oversight Committee, the Management Board of GPW Benchmark S.A. adopted on August 17, 2020 amendments to the Rules of the GPW Indices Family in reference to the WIG-ESG index portfolio revision rules. The new wording of the Rules will come into force 30 days after their publication, i.e. on September 16, 2020.

At the same time, the Management Board of GPW Benchmark S.A., taking into account the interests of the WIG-ESG index users and after consulting the Oversight Committee, decided to withdraw from the annual revision of the WIG-ESG index portfolio after the last trading session in August, to conducting, in accordance with the new Rules, a quarterly revision after the trading session on September 18, 2020, in order to minimize the introduction of further changes in the composition of the WIG-ESG index portfolio with a relatively short time.

In addition, the Management Board of GPW Benchmark S.A., guided by the interests of the WIG-ESG index users and after consulting the Oversight Committee, decided to maintain the one-week term for publishing the new composition of the WIG-ESG portfolio before the review, which means that the new composition of the index portfolio will be published on September 11, 2020.
